SME Solutions was founded to bridge the gap between world-class European engineering and the evolving needs of growing businesses in Romania. The Story Behind SME Solutions
My journey in engineering and technical sales spans over 20 years, working alongside industry-leading European machine builders such as BluePrint Automation, Ishida, Aweta, and BITO Lagertechnik.
The spark for SME Solutions, however, goes back to a pivotal moment in 2011 during an industrial automation assignment in Temirtau, Kazakhstan. Sitting at a table with plant engineers discussing a coal-feed automation project for a blast furnace, they laid out yellowed, hand-drawn schematics—manually updated over decades without a single computer system in sight.
That exact moment defined my mission: there is an immense amount of potential to be unlocked by introducing accessible, reliable, and pragmatic technology to operations that need it most.
After living and working abroad for over a decade, I married my Romanian wife, received our daughter and relocated to Romania. SME Solutions was born from a desire to apply this global expertise directly to the local market and make a tangible difference for regional businesses.
